I am an ABM NeuroMovement practitioner specializing in work with Children with Special Needs. I also see adults that are looking to regain lost mobility, improve balance, think more clearly and function on a higher level due to stroke, aging or other neurological issues.
First and foremost, I am the mother of a beautiful little girl with special needs. I became an Anat Baniel Method practitioner initially to be her teacher, but after learning and changing so much, I realized that this was my fortunate path. Being a parent myself, and having gone through this process intimately, I have found that I have an intrinsic connection with and unique understanding of the parents and families that I meet. This has enriched my work in inexplicable ways. What I do as a practitioner, is not try to fix your child, but connect with them. In this lies the miracles! My ability to connect with the children as well as the parents has elicited very beautiful outcomes.
I have completed the ABM® basic training, the Children's Mastery course and have continued my education studying with other movement teachers around the country. In addition to this, I have had the fortune to observe hundreds of lessons by the master practitioners at the ABM center in California. This has been a wonderful learning experience that has moved my work to another level - so much so that I was asked to be a speaker at the first ever International ABM Conference in January 2017.
I have a full-time private practice in Louisville, Colorado at the Lousiville Family Center.
